Tony Varrato grew up in Millsboro, Delaware in the USA and graduated from the University of Delaware in 1988. He has taught in Vineland NJ, Selbyville DE and Georgetown DE. He is both an author and high school English teacher who knows his audience well. He wrote this novel specifically for the reluctant readers in his classroom, and others like them. In his words, "They wanted something fast-paced, actionpacked, and short."

Javier Navarro was born in Malaga in 1966. He lived in Spain, in Salamanca, for several years, where he studied philology. Later he became a Spanish teacher at the Universities of Salamanca and Würzburg in Germany, where he's lived for nine years.

Jaime Corpas likes books, travels and the cinema, but his greatest passion is languages.
He was born in Pedrola in 1965 but grew up in Barcelona. As a young man he studied Translation and Interpretation at the University Autónoma and since then he has worked as a Spanish teacher in Barcelona, in Cologne (Germany) and in Sydney (Australia).
He now lives in Madrid.He has also been the editor of a journal for English students and has published several teaching materials for Spanish students.
